Stargrass Paper Co.
"I wanted to let you know that working with your team was really wonderful. Creating the website was a bit harder than I thought with a day job that got quite busy during the middle of the site development, but Margot and Zak did a great job of keeping me on track (as best they could) even when I was falling behind again and again.
Even more important, they were able to take my ideas and questions and build the site I couldn't even quite picture at the beginning. And the logo is just amazing. I knew it was awesome when I handed out business cards at the National Stationery Show and my favorite designers were giving me compliments! Really pleased and look forward to launching my site (as soon as I can get all of my content up)."

The Flair Exchange
"Since working with the Aeolidia team, my business has experienced a much more proficient work day. I reached out to Aeolidia to create a website that allowed my customers to create custom products & preview them prior to purchasing ( which Zak and the Aeolidia team pulled off flawlessly ), but what I got was a much more cohesive website & visual representation of what The Flair Exchange offers. Having worked with several graphic designers in the past, I initially dreaded the thought of going through a logo redesign. It had always seemed impossible to explain what I wanted. Meg, however was a dream to work with and kept the process concise. The Aeolidia team is incredibly organized and quick to respond to any concerns. While this was a substantial financial investment, it was worth every single penny. Samantha, Meg & Zak are rock stars in our eyes!"

Freshie & Zero
"Thanks so much Christine! The website is beautiful! I also ran into a gal last night who is a well known surface designer/graphic designer who told me she LOVED my new logo. I said 'just wait 'til you see the new site!'"

Noisy Dog Studio
Lauren designed a contemporary new site for her, to reflect the growth and change in Leigh's painting style.

"I have nothing negative or constructive to say. I think it looks totally awesome. My husband and I are looking at it and literally grinning from ear to ear. I think this is the winner. THANK YOU!!"
-- Rebecca Kestenbaum
"You did better than finding one that was close to being 'it'. You hit the nail on the head!!! We LOVE the first one and your comments were perfect!! Inspiring Artistry fit us to a tee! We love that it is deceptively simple yet there is so much meaning behind it!!
WOW. The logo revision is the perfect blend of quirky elegance!! :) We LOVE IT!!! You’ve captured our products and personality perfectly!!"
-- Kristen Rice
Miri told us: "Miri tee is a boutique online store which will sell a unique collection of handpicked products. They are quirky, fun and affordable. I am starting off focusing on children but am hoping to expand so don't want to be to tied down with any child like logos etc. I have been a stylist for 15 years. I want the site to be cool, simple and easy to use but quirky too. I like to laugh and not that I want the website to make me laugh but don't want it to be boring!"
One of our first willing guinea pigs was Cardtorial! For a logo redesign/refresh we keep a thing or two about the original logo – whatever is working well and that the client is happy with. We’ll keep the icon, the font, the color scheme. Our aim is for the final logo to look familiar to existing customers, and be an upgrade rather than a departure.
Jena worked with Elizabeth on a playful new business name, and then Liz got to work on a logo that expressed the exuberance and charm that Elizabeth was looking for. Lauren worked meticulously on the website design, and we're just thrilled with the results.
Akiko & Mike
"Awesome communication, totally impressed with how all of you were so professional. It was a pleasure working with you guys."
-- Akiko Giometti
"During my tenure at Penland I made a series of large scale drawings. In my previous (college / art school) experience, we were encouraged to "think outside the frame" so I got used to pinning pieces to the wall or pursuing some alternative means to display my work.
Every time I had the drawings critiqued by visiting artists or peers, the person giving the critique would encourage me to seek a framer. I resisted (I guess I thought that was a boring solution) and when I gave in my drawings suddenly looked legitimate. It was like seeing them in formal wear! They looked so tight and so professional.
Essentially seeing my jewelry in the context of the new website is just like seeing my drawings framed. Wow! Mind you, I used a great framer then and obviously the best web designers this go round!
The other thing that happened when I framed these drawings is that they sold! I am hoping that the website will give further legitimacy to my business (resulting in sales) in addition to providing a nice home for my jewelry."

Organic Cotton Plus
- Make our site much more aesthetically pleasing to our customers.
- Make the back-end easier for us.
- Move them to a more stable software platform to grow on.
Melissa designed the logo and illustrations, and Lauren created the site design. We ordinarily work with designers and creatives who want a lot of input into the process, but for this project we were given free rein for design decisions, coming up with a polished and professional look that is also fun and appealing to their target audience.
"I needed a coherent and professional 'shop window' on the internet. Paying other people with the right experience to do it for me made me interrogate my brand and ask questions of myself which would not have happened if I had attempted to do it all.
I now have an online presence which I am really proud of and can link back to in a million ways be it online, through social media or face to face. The ability to close the sale at the last step of the journey with an e-commerce site is the icing on the cake.
I now look and feel like a professional who means business and the site has actually made me approach my entire brand with a different head on. I'm now more confident in my business and its future than I have ever been.
I wanted to swoop in and say a huge thank you to all of you for helping to make my brand and website beyond my wildest dreams - brilliant. Thank you all for your patience, thousands of miles and thousands of seconds time difference can be challenging but you made it feel like we were in the same room - (although not so close that I could see you tutting and rolling your eyes - which I guess maybe happened now and again?!) ha ha. I am over the moon."

"Our previous website is 8 years old! It was the first and only Rare Device website, the one that Rena and Arianne worked on together when Rare Device first opened in 2005. Having said that, the fact that it lasted 8 years and was still useful to us speaks volumes about how well-made it was. When I decided that it was time to have a new website, I thought that it was a great opportunity to create a new logo as well. I wanted our new logo to be clean, modern, but fun, which is what Rare Device is all about.
The team at Aeolidia have been spectacular, starting with our designer, Meg Lewis, who captured my vision so vividly. Meg also designed our new logo, which I just love! From the moment Meg showed me the initial logo concepts, I knew we were in great hands. Our developer, Zoe Rooney, brought Meg's designs to life and was very patient and comforting as we went through some issues that were all eventually resolved. "

"I could not be more thrilled with my experience working with Aeolidia -- my site was completely tailored to my ecommerce needs and is absolutely wonderful.
We have received dozens of comments on how easy the new site is to use, and how gorgeous it looks.
Our wholesale requests tripled since the launch of the site, and we are definitely sending the vibe that we are a high end brand!"
-- Amy Richardson
"Our store was built on the philosophy of only carrying shoes that promote natural foot health and development, so we hand select all our products based on quality, style and age/stage appropriate design. We definitely cater to a more narrowed selection of style that is MODERN, URBAN and OUTDOORSY – we steer clear of loafers and classics (we like to call them Grandma Bait!). We offer the expertise, personal service and product knowledge of a boutique store while providing the shopping perks of a big store like huge selection, great prices, free shipping & easy returns."
Chalese also gives us a great example of how having focused goals results in a successful website. Check out these well thought out goals:
"Our ultimate goal is to sell product, but we want to be everyone’s first go-to resource when they’re looking for kids shoes & accessories. So we don’t want someone walking away thinking I just got a great deal on a pair of shoes from some random online store, we want our customers to love their entire shopping experience with us so they want to come back and tell all of their friends about us.
We want our customers to know we have the best selection of kids shoes and accessories, that we offer free, fast shipping on all orders over $20 to US & Canada, that we’re here to help them find the perfect shoes for their kids with our real customer service, expert product knowledge and sizing help, and that we stand behind everything we sell. We also want our site to be really easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for."

"Kudos to Liz and Aeolidia ! We just got this from a customer:
"I just wanted to let you know that I put your Etsy shop on my blog! Love the header!! Did you make it, or did you have an Etsy shop do it? Anyway, it is great!"
I was sure to send the info along! Thanks again! we’re in L.O.V.E.!"
-- Chelsea Camalick
"I am looking to create a banner for my Etsy site that I can also have printed onto a vinyl banner for art fairs. My target customer is anyone who likes jewelry and cares about buying a handmade piece.
I would like something that is clean and modern with a little pop of color. Something easily readable and that mentions the fact that my product is handmade. I would like to give my Etsy site and my booth a slightly more polished/professional rather than crafty look with an interesting banner.
Fresh Picked Patchwork
Melissa worked on a logo that calls to mind vintage fruit crates. She commented, "After studying your inspiration references, I wanted to create a logo that draws in the target customer, sewers and quilters in their mid 20s-50s, and helps set you apart from the competition. After viewing your competition, I think a good way to do this is with a logo that is clean, simple, and professional looking with a hint of creativity and fun."
Oh My! Handmade Goodness
"I first found Aeolidia in 2009 when they designed the Bamboletta dolls website and I fell in love. I followed everything they came out with after that and I bought OMHG in 2010 partly because I saw Arianne on the contributor list and I wanted a chance to connect with her! When it became really clear our site had outgrown its beginnings as a blog and had become a community I started planning to have it redesigned and only Aeolidia would do. Our community had been looking for ways to connect more but the old site was hard to use, crashing regularly, loading slowly, and generally buggy. It was a pain to manage all our contributors and our traffic had become too high for our little old site. So I saved the profits from advertising and digital products to invest in our rebrand and redesign. It took almost two years of saving, planning, and brainstorming ideas but in October 2012 we got started with a grand plan to transform OMHG into the first online community centre for creative entrepreneurs!
Ashley and Joel of This Paper Ship got us started by creating the new OMHG logo and illustrations that represent our diverse community. I wanted our branding to be friendly, welcoming, quirky and creative-they nailed it and their designs influenced the rest of the site. Then the brilliant Lauren Hardage went to work on the site design and blew me away with her eye for detail and usability. I have never worked with anyone who could so clearly and quickly capture the essence of an idea visually, almost every one of her mock ups was used as is with little to no revisions. I was sad when the designs were done and I didn't get the excitement of a new mock up in my inbox anymore!
The truly magical part for me was getting to work with developer Zoe Rooney, who has been an OMHG contributor and friend from the beginning. Without Zoe this site would never have happened, she helped me with all the initial brainstorming and ideas for what the community would benefit from most. Her understanding of systems and Wordpress transformed vague thoughts of how a site with a private community, marketplace, contributor forums and online classes could work into a site that does absolutely everything I imagined. Building the new site was a long collaborative process but throughout it all the Aeolidia team made it easy, fun, and captured the spirit of our community perfectly. The new OMHG is functional, beautiful, and has made going to work every day so fun! Our community is loving it, new collaborations are starting daily, our sales have tripled, and our traffic is soaring! When your website is your business having one that fits perfectly is the best possible investment. I am so thankful to Aeolidia for handcrafting a website for our community and a home for all my creative dreams!"

Lovely & Co.
After the problems we had with our previous designers, working with Aeolidia on our logo design was a breath of fresh air. Everything was very clear, from the quote to the extremely useful calendar, so we knew exactly where we were throughout. I was also greatly impressed by how promptly Meg responded to my emails – she made me feel like she was prioritising the project at all times and the fact that we were working with time differences didn’t matter. Meg’s manner is highly professional and friendly – she had no problem at all when I didn’t want to go with one round of revisions – which inspired total confidence – and the end result is exactly what we wanted. I am looking forward to working with Aeolidia again on our web design.

Little Room of Style
"Whenever I am “Over The Moon Happy” I love to share; and I love to give gratitude to all the people teaching me and fueling my passion. Learning more about blogging has been such a surprise. I honestly did not know there was so much to learn. And, I didn’t know how much learning about blogging would light my inner creative fire. Each day I learn something new and crave to learn more.
Initially, my first step was to begin the journey of finding just the “right” web designer and illustrator to create my blog. After hours of research, I came upon Aeolidia. My attraction to Arianne was immediate. The first class service and über talented team, oozing a sense of class, sealed the deal. I encourage anyone sincerely learning about blogging and wanting creative people who know how to keep everything moving forward to check out Aeolidia. They are consistently providing wonderful tips on their blog.
My experience with Aeolidia was a wonderful journey of discovery. My team of creative experts led me to my dream site, my little room of style. I cannot say thank you enough for the first class service! I look forward to more projects with Aeolidia!"
